Job Description
Clinical Lead Canterbury-£19ph
Salary: £17-£19ph
Hours: 37.5 (includes a minimum of 6 hours supernumerary per week)
Service: Care Home with Nursing

A brand new and exciting opportunity has recently become available in Canterbury for a Clinical Lead to join a forward thinking care home provider.
If you are a Senior Nurse looking to make the next step in your career or a Deputy Manager/Clinical Lead simply looking for a new challenge then this could be the perfect role for you! This home has a warm, welcoming and caring environment which prides its self on its person centred care for the elderly, some with other age related conditions. The home always ensures the residents physical and emotional needs are a top priority.
Key Duties:
• To lead/ support a team of staff
• To oversee care plans
• Assist with training of new staff
• Support the management team
• Ensure high care standards are met on a day to day basis
• Maintaining the safe custody, administration and storage of medication
• Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
• Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient/resident engagement
Qualification/Skill Requirements of Clinical Lead:
• Valid PIN number (RGN)
• Strong clinical background, in a similar setting
• A commitment to patient-centred care and to values-based and evidence-based practice
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership skills
• Have a clear and thorough knowledge of CQC standards
