Job Description
Cpl Healthcare is recruiting for a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 and Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM1 and CNM2) for a private healthcare service providing care and support to people with severe and enduring mental health needs.
These are exciting opportunities for experienced nurses to lead and develop a team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants and to play an integral and active role in a committed Multidisciplinary Team to make a significant contribution in the area of psychiatric nurse management.
Reporting to the CNM2, the Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (Mental Health) has a pivotal role in co-ordinating and managing activity and resources within the clinical area. The main responsibilities are ensuring high clinical standards are adhered to, resource management, staffing and staff development, facilitating communication and professional/clinical leadership.
Reporting to The Director of Nursing, the Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (Mental Health)
has a pivotal role in service planning, coordinating and managing activity and resources
within the clinical area. The main responsibilities are quality assurance,
resource management, staffing and staff development, facilitating communication a
professional/clinical leadership
To be considered for these roles the following criteria apply:
CNM1:
- Must be registered or eligible to register with the NMBI.
- Have 3 years post qualifying relevant nursing experience.
CNM2:
- Must be registered or eligible to register with the NMBI as a Registered Psychiatric
- Have at least 5 years post qualification nursing experience including nurse management experience.
- A qualification in management, while not essential is a distinct advantage

- Be dynamic and energetic individuals with experience of working at Clinical Nurse Management or as a Staff Nurse in mental health
- Have an in-depth knowledge of the Mental Health Commission requirements, leadership and governance with evidence of continuing professional development.
