This post is subject to a satisfactory DBS clearance and as a result, you will be required to pay the associated fee of £38.00. This fee will be deducted from your second month's salary.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
  • • Registered Nurse • Relevant cardiology post registration qualification • Graduate • Teaching/Mentoring qualification
Desirable criteria
  • • Management/ Leadership training
Experience
Essential criteria
  • • Regularly deputised for a ward/department manager • Success in working collaboratively with other health and social care professionals • Successfully implemented a change management project in practice that benefited services • Introduced evidence based practice at a ward/department level • Managed staff including sickness, performance and dignity • Participation in Appraisal/PDP
Desirable criteria
  • • Utilised research to inform practice • Clinical audit experience
Knowledge
Essential criteria
  • • Current clinical practitioner with a working knowledge of developments in nursing policy and practice. • Patient centred care and services • Lifelong learning and professional education and training • Recruitment and retention of a quality health care team
Skills
Essential criteria
  • • Ability to lead, motivate and empower staff • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills • Able to influence and advise others about risk management and quality improvement issues • Effective team worker
