Job Description

Clinical Deputy Manager
  • Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
  • Position: Clinical Deputy Manager ( RGN, RMN, RNLD)
  • Service: Nursing, residential and palliative care (Nursing home)
  • Salary: Up to £47,486 per annum
  • Hours: 40 Hours per week Monday - Friday - occasional night/ weekend cover
  • Shift Pattern: Full time Days
  • Contract: Permanent

About the Home:

Based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire this beautiful and welcoming 75 bed nursing home offers residential and nursing care. Providing person centred care to Elderly Residents with end-of-life care needs, physical disability, dementia, and old age-related needs. The home also provides support for younger adults requiring residential support for complex needs. With a dedicated team of staff, residents have access to wide range of care provision with a clear focus on person centred care. We are looking for an experienced Nurse qualified RGN / RGN or RNLD to come and join as part of our management team as a Clinical Deputy Manager.

About the role:

As the Clinical Deputy Manager, you will oversee and assist every aspect of nursing care and activity within the home, including developing and updating care plans and maintaining clear, accurate medication records. Always seeking to share your clinical experience, you will provide valuable support, guidance, and assistance to the rest of our care staff. You will be required to support the home manager acting up in their absence. This role would be ideal for someone with strong leadership and communication skills with a passion for nursing.

The Care Home offers a structured and thorough induction programme, which will include various training courses. Whether you are a newly qualified nurse or an experienced nurse looking for further progression, you will have access to clear and structured development programmes where nurses can see clear pathways to progression within the Care Home.

Nurses will have access to training opportunities to develop and enhance your nursing skills. You will receive ongoing support from your Manager Training and development is one of the major ethos' of the care home. There are no limits to the training and development the home can fund any training course that is relevant to your job role.
