A charitably run nursing home in the Banstead area is looking to recruit an Registered General Nurse to work as a Deputy Clinical Manager.

The home is fully CQC compliant and supports older people living with age related frailties, medical nursing needs and provides specialist dementia care.

Details of this Deputy Clinical Manager vacancy and what the successful candidate can expect to receive:

• A permanent contract to work 35 hours per week

• Competitive rates of pay of £24.23 per hour

• Great overtime rates of £29.08

• A comprehensive induction and training and development

• 33 days annual leave

As Nurse Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in all aspects of the day to day running of the home and will lead the home in their absence. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring the planning and delivery of care and will ensure care plans and medication records are correctly updated, undertaking regular clinical audits and supervisions.

Applicants for this Deputy Manager position should meet the following criteria:

• NMC Registered General Nurse - Adult RGN

• Experienced in a managerial or supervisory capacity in a clinical setting, ideally within the elderly care sector

• Demonstrate proven elderly and dementia care experience

• Confident leading, developing and motivating a team of Nurses and HCAs

• Demonstrate good working knowledge of CQC essential standards
