Job Description
The Post
This is a Senior clinical fellow post for our Haematology Department.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual. Experience of clinical research would be an advantage as we have a very active clinical trials unit including early phase studies.
This is a Clinical Fellowship post in Clinical Haematology, which is part of the Inpatient Medical Specialties (IMS) Clinical Service Unit (CSU), based at the Manchester Royal Infirmary.
The post holder will work closely with the consultant and nursing team to support all aspects of the Haematology Department.
The successful candidates will be required to apply for an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Qualifications & Training
Essential criteria
- Medical Degree
- Minimum of 2 years' full time (or equivalent part time) hospital service in the ST1-2 grade or higher
- Experience in General Haematology
- MRCP
Desirable criteria
- Experience in Malignant Haematology
- Experience in Non-malignant Haematology
Audit
Essential criteria
- Participation in Clinical Audit
Desirable criteria
- Teaching Medical Students
- Teaching Junior Medical Staff
