Band 6 Social Worker
We have an amazing opportunity for a dedicated Band 6 Social Worker to work in the Redbridge Access & Assessment team based in Wanstead. You will be considered for this position if you have previously worked within children mental health.

Salary: £26 - £28 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

This is an initial 3 - 6 months contract, which is likely to be extended
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Responsibilities and skills

• Complete telephone triage & initial assessments, carry a caseload of clients for key working, onward referrals/professional meetings & liaison as required, MDT working
• Skills: Experience in community mental health assessment: key working or care coordinator role. Ideally experience in an access team/SPA. Knowledge of local area & RiO experience preferential.

What you will need?

• Must have the right to work in the UK
• NMC registration/HCPC registration
• 2-3 years post qualifying experience working with children
• 5 years references
• Enhanced DBS check
• Car Driver
