Job Description
Senior Nurse Unit Manager
Registered Mental Health Nurse, RMN, required for a Mental Health Unit within a small and specialised care and rehabilitation home based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. flexibility for days and nights and a salary of £41,386.80 per annum (£18.95 p/h) Unit Manager role
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary: £18.95 per hour (£41,386.80)
Hours: Full time , Part time days only or nights only

Further Details: A fantastic brand new opportunity has arisen for a passionate and motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse, Registered Learning Disability Nurse or Registered Adult Nurse ( RGN / RMN / RNLD ) to work within a specialist, flexible, person-centred home for adults with Mental Health need. The service is ideally situated in Leeds and is within easy reach of public transport links, local shops and amenities.
This is a Twenty bedded specialist psychiatric home working with adult service users who present with complex mental health needs. The home also offers specialist care for individuals with Huntington's Disease and other neurological conditions. We have a focus on enablement and recovery and have expanded to support three people on an intensive recovery journey. The home is split in to 2 x 10 bedded units and one 3 bedded community house. As a nurse you would be responsible for the shift management of a unit.
Preceptorship nurses: In the case of newly qualified nurses ( Mental Health Nurse , Learning Disability Nurse and/or Registered Adult Nurse ), the service offers a fantastic preceptorship programme. They have a good number of experienced staff to support and mentor newly qualified nurses.
Training / Induction and opportunities for development and progression: The Service offers a structured and thorough 2 week induction programme, which will include various training courses. You will also have access to clear and structured development programmes where you can see clear pathways to progression within the company. Training and development is one of the major ethos' of the company. There are no limits to training and development as the service will fund any training course you would like to do that is relevant to your job role.
