Registered Nurse - Neuro Rehabilitation Service

Colchester, Essex

Salary:£35,392 per annum ( Up to £18.15 PH ) - negotiable depending on your experience & preferred hours

Hours: Full Time hours or Part Time available depending on preference

Shifts: Days, Nights or mixed shifts available - 37.5 hours

About the job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified or experienced RMN, RNLD or RGN ( Mental Health Nurse , Learning Disability Nurse and / or Registered Adult Nurse ) to work within a charitable 21 bed Brain and Spinal Injury service in Colchester for younger adults 18+

Service Details:

This is a high-dependency, residential care home providing 24-hour nursing and personal care for adults with disabilities, most of whom are younger. People at the service have a wide range of individual choice, enabled by active support from staff. The service takes a person-centred, flexible approach. We know that everyone's needs and aspirations are different - that all sorts of things add up to a flourishing life.

Together, with the people that use our services, we create co-produced care plans that support personal goals and needs. People are encouraged to participate in all decision-making relating to their own care and wellbeing. Our nurses and support staff are highly trained, and are on hand to help. Training / Induction and opportunities for development and progression:

The hospital offers a structured and thorough 2-week induction programme, which will include various training courses. You will also have access to clear and structured development programmes where you can see clear pathways to progression within the hospital. Training and development is one of the major ethos' of the hospital. There are no limits to training and development as the hospital will fund any training course you would like to do that is relevant to your job role - for example, one of the ward managers is currently doing a masters in advanced clinical practice funded by the hospital.
