We are delighted to be recruiting for an Outpatients Nurse to join our expanding orthopaedics Outpatient department within a private clinic with an excellent reputation in Central London. The clinic is ideally situated in Central London and is within easy reach of public transport links and a car park a short walk away. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Outpatients Nurse to join a leading, forward-thinking dedicated private Clinic in Central London. Within this role you will be reporting to the Outpatients Sister. The Clinic specialises in orthopaedics and sports injuries with the latest technology in Wimbledon.

About the role:

You will be working on the outpatient ward as part of our nursing team and will be responsible for:

Delivering the highest quality of outpatient care to patients

Working well as part of a supportive team, offering knowledge and support as well as working well independently

Assessing patient needs with enthusiasm and empath, always ensuring safety and comfort of patients

Planning, implementing and evaluating care programs, keeping in line with policies and guidelines

Carrying out clinical nursing procedures, including administering medication, assistance with minor procedures, monitoring vital signs, venepuncture and chaperoning

Keeping patient medical records, up to date, accurate and managing them on an IT System

Who we're looking for;

Be NMC registered RGN - your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions

Eligibility to live and work in the UK

Previous outpatient experience, within surgical care carrying our minor procedures

Experience working within the private sector is desirable

Phlebotomy, cannulation, ECGs, and intravenous antibiotics would be an advantage.

Ability to work well independently and within a team

Good written, numerical, and verbal communication skills

Computer literate using MS Office Suite and web based reporting systems

Person Specification: All applicants must have a valid NMC registration with no restrictions and full eligibility to live and work in the UK. At least 2 years experience in the UK is essential for this position.
