We are looking to recruit a Practice Nurse for a lovely GP surgery with around 9000 patients near Truro (TR2).

The ideal candidate will be able to perform a range of treatment room skills, including Cytology, Baby Immunisations, Vaccines, Dressing and Chronic Disease checks and reviews - preferably for both respiratory and diabetes.

You will need to have had GP surgery experience to be considered, as well as being registered with the RGN. The surgery use SystemOne so some experience with this would also be beneficial.

The surgery has a good CQC, have around 9000 patients and a mixed demographic of patients.

Your employment package if successful will be competitive with £17-£20 per hour, NHS pension contributions and 25 days of holiday with bank holidays off as well. They are looking for a Practice Nurse for full time hours, 37.5 hours, ideally across 5 days although they could consider 4 days for the correct candidate. Job share options could be considered if 2 successful part time candidates apply.

The surgery will offer CPD and training in some areas if there are any additional skills or areas you wish to develop into. The current team include 8 GPs and 4 Nurses and 4 HCAs.
