Registered Nurse - Outpatients | Outpatients | Band 5 equivalent | Worcester | Part Time, 12 hours per week | Award winning CPD

Spire Southbank have an exciting part time opportunity for an experienced Nurse to join their small Outpatients team. This role offers lots of variety and the opportunity to develop your clinical skills in a supportive environment.

Duties and responsibilities

• Assist with seeing patients if they need to come in after surgery.
• Carry out individualised nursing care and procedures to the highest standards complying with hospital policies and procedures at all times
• Chaperone and assist Consultants during examination of the patient's and minor surgical procedures and assists in arranging investigations requested by Consultants
• Carry out any other duties delegated by the OPD Manager / team leader for the proper and efficient care of the patient's and the smooth running of the department
• Running your own nurse-led clinic
• Follow up phone calls for post-operative patients

Who we're looking for

• Be NMC registered - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions
• Outpatient Services experience is desirable for this position but not essential
• Wound care experience is essential
• Additional skill such as phlebotomy, Urology and ECG's would be advantageous but training can be offered
• Excellent communication skills, along with being organised and can showcase excellent patient care
