Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supplies Manager with proven experience, to join our dynamic team located at Spire Parkway Hospital on a Full-Time and permanent basis.
Spire Parkway Hospital has completed a £9 million development programme that included a state-of-the-art Spire Specialist Care Centre and new Endoscopy Suite. It has also seen the total refurbishment of the hospital's 51 bedrooms as well as one of its five operating theatres. The Spire Specialist Care Centre offers treatment for a wide range of cancers as well a Rapid Access Breast Clinic and a One-Stop Haematuria Clinic.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Overseeing the development of the hospital supply chain and stock holding strategy whereby you will deliver significant change and improvement
- Leading projects such as a critical evaluation of consumable storage that will improve spend, efficiency and productivity
- Managing a small team of Supplies Co-ordinators
- Establishing, implementing and managing systems to monitor and report on slow-moving stock, effective stock rotation and stock date checks
Who we're looking for -
- Someone who is highly organised and accurate and works well to targeted deadlines
- Previous responsibility for project and/or supply chain management
- Experience working in a similar environment would be beneficial and advantageous. Training and Up-Skilling would be available.
- Must be a good communicator and have good computer literacy
