Theatre Practitioner – Scrub and Surgical First Assistant

A leading private hospital in the Worcester area is looking for a Theatre Practitioner with experience in Scrub and Surgical First Assist to join there team on a permanent basis, with full-time and part-time contracts available.

As a Theatre Practitioner you will provide care for patients through a variety of elective surgical procedures including Orthopaedic, General, Urology and Ophthalmic surgeries. You will also provide exemplary patient care, carrying out Scrub and SFA duties in a theatre setting, whilst assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.

What we’re looking for in a Theatre Practitioner

• NMC Registered Level 1 Adult Nurse/RGN or HCPC Registered Theatre Practitioner/ODP

• Have completed or currently undertaking SFA course

• Strong communication and interpersonal and skills

• A caring and compassionate nature
