An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of a brand new 111 Mental Health Team based in Leicester. This role aims to improve access to support, advice and information for those with mental health needs in the East Midlands.
Overview of Main Duties and Responsibilities
As part of the CYP Triage and navigation service you will be responsible for the following:

• Screening referrals
• Managing incoming calls (referral and enquiries)
• Clinician advice to CYP and carers
• Professional referrals including crisis team referrals.

You will be the point of contact for initial clinical queries, providing appropriate advice and guidance, and navigating the referrer/caller to the right part of the system.
You will be required to manage queries and referrals that have been escalated due to complexity and/or risk by other clinicians.
The role offers support from a robust clinical and managerial leadership structure which will encourage professional development for those seeking to expand their clinical experience.
Clinicians will benefit from a full supervision package and opportunities for group reflection, development and mentoring will be available.
Being a 24/7 service, operating 24 hours a day, you would need to be flexible to work both days, nights and weekends.
