Leaders In Care has an excellent opportunity for a Scunthorpe-based experienced nurse with senior experience. There is a vacancy for a Clinical Lead Nurse to work full-time for a healthcare provider in a care home in Scunthorpe. The role commands a salary of £42,000 per annum. As part of our client's specialist brand of residential and nursing care services, this large nursing home delivers support for people living with age-related needs and dementia, helping them to lead full and happy lives.

Combining clinical nursing leadership with operational management, the successful candidate will step into the service manager role as and when required to deputise. The clinical lead role also involves mentoring the nursing team and providing supervision. You'll facilitate learning opportunities and support others in their development of autonomous practice.

To apply, you will need relevant nursing qualifications (RGN, RNLD or RMN) and previous Senior Nurse experience - preferably working in a nursing home environment, ideally in a unit manager or other supervisory role.
You will also need to demonstrate a thorough understanding of clinical governance including risk management and audit, as well as complying with all policies, procedures, clinical protocols, evidence-based nursing practice and NMC guidelines.

If you were in this role already, you'd have spent the past week:

• Providing practical, emotional and supervisory support to a team of nurses and care staff
• Led by example in all matters, ensuring high standards of care are adhered to
• Kept comprehensive online records relating to all admin aspects of the nursing home
