Compass Associates are extremely proud to be working with a Leading Private Hospital, located in Reading, who offer over a full range of specialities including orthopaedics, cosmetics, ENT, endoscopy, gastroenterology, general, gynaecology, ophthalmology and urology amongst others.    

This hospital prides themselves on their welcoming atmosphere, high standards or clinical care and the continuing investment in technology, training, and facilities. At present, we are looking for a Senior Theatre Practitioner to join the Theatre department.

The Role                 

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse (RGN) or an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) seeking a new challenge within an established and reputable organisation. You will be a part of a close-knit team and will be fully supported by the Theatre Manager in order to learn, grow and develop your skills. Previous experience as a Theatre Practitioner in either Scrub, Recovery or Anaesthetic's is necessary and you will ideally have some leadership experience.

This is a full-time role consisting of 37.5 hour weeks. In order to be successful with this opportunity, you must be a qualified Nurse (RGN) and be registered with the NMC or an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) and be registered with the HCPC.       

Requirements                

- RGN/ ODP qualification                

- NMC/ HCPC Registration                

- Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience                

- Previous experience as a Theatre Practitioner with some leadership duties

- Passion for high quality patient care                

- Excellent communication skills
