COVID Vaccinations

On the 9th November 2021 the Government announced new regulations which we anticipate will come into force on 1 April 2022, requiring people who conduct Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulated activity in public (NHS) or independent sector health and social care settings in England, to have received two doses of a Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) approved COVID-19 vaccine unless exempt.

Please be aware that provided these regulations do come into force as currently planned, this role may be affected and as such, successful candidate(s) will be required to show proof that they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as part of the pre-employment check process. If you are unable to prove that you have been fully vaccinated (i.e. that you have received two doses of an approved vaccine) please note we will be unable to proceed with your application and any offers of employment made will be withdrawn.

Reasons for exemption:

Clinically exempt - Some individuals may have grounds not to have the vaccine for clinical reasons. Should you be medically exempt from receiving the vaccination you will be asked to provide written confirmation of this issued by a medical practitioner as part of the pre-employment check process in order that this can be given due consideration.

Exempt due to a short-term medical condition (which is an option that some pregnant women may choose to take; for pregnant women the exemption expires 16 weeks post-partum and so will allow them to become fully vaccinated after birth) Taken part or is currently taking part in
