Senior Nurse - Outpatients - RGN - Private, Independent Hospital - Central London - Up to £46,000 per annum

37.5 hours per week

Are you an experienced Outpatients Nurse (RGN) looking to take on more responsibility in an established, private hospital in Central London, where you will be rewarded for your service? If so, please continue reading!

The modern design of the Outpatients Department makes it a welcoming environment for patients seeking consultations and treatments within a variety of specialties, including Obstetrics, ENT, Urology, Endocrinology and Pain Management.

As a Senior Nurse, you will be responsible for leading the nursing staff and ensuring patients are receiving appropriate care. In return for your hard work, our client is offering a promising benefits package, above-average starting salary, and excellent training.

Responsibilities of the Senior Nurse role include:

  • Adhere to the principles of clinical governance
  • Lead the clinical staff team and ensure resources are appropriately distributed
  • Undertake all care for patients whilst in the hospital including diagnostic tests and post-treatment care
  • Working alongside consultants to ensure the correct care and information is being delivered to patients
  • *Participating in clinical and quality audits, including the managing and reporting of incidents.
  • Prepare all areas prior to any clinical activities, ensuring all equipment is checked and ready for use

Essential requirements of this Senior Nurse role include:

  • Qualified as a Registered General Nurse with NMC PIN
  • Experience in an Outpatients department
  • Clinical leadership qualities and/or previous experience
  • Right to work in the UK
