Job Description

Secondment Opportunity- NMAHP Matron/Lead for Digital Transformation, Hospital/ MCS

(1 postholder per hospital/MCS)

(12 month secondment up to December 2022)

It will provide real-time information about any patient's condition, treatment plan, diagnostic results, scheduled clinics and much more - providing timely and relevant advice to help clinical teams make the right decisions at the right time.

The role

The NMAHP Hive Matron/Lead role will support a hospital/ MCS based digital transformation to ready nursing, midwifery and AHP teams for the Hive EPR implementation. Key pieces of work will include identification and coordination of training activities and go live support. The individual will work closely with the Hive Programme and be a key resource to support transformation projects and support adoption of new ways of working. You'll provide local advice, guidance and management to make sure your hospital/ MCS transition towards Hive and that its benefits to patients and staff are fully realised.

Required skills and experience

We're looking for candidates with significant experience in a clinical role at band 7 level. You'll have successfully managed transformational projects and led multidisciplinary teams and confident collaborating with multiple services.

Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, and you'll be able to take a strategic view of projects as well as an analytical perspective.

You'll also need evidence of working towards a postgraduate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject and current NMC/HCPC registration.

The amount of £26.85(standard disclosure) or £43.85 (enhanced disclosure) which will be deducted from salary, in the first 3 months of employment.
