Job Description

Registered Nurse ( RMN / RNLD ) - An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified or experienced registered mental health nurse ( RMN ) or registered learning disabilities nurse ( RNLD ) to work within a very positive, friendly and supportive Mental Health Hospital situated in North West London. The Hospital has an excellent recent CQC rating. They have a very positive and supportive work environment with a brilliant long-standing team. The have a very low staff turnover and staff morale is very high. They are very big on staff development and training.
  • Location: North West London ( Wembley, Edgware, Harrow area )
  • Salary: £28,600 - £36,500 per annum ( up to £16.45 per hour ) - negotiable depending on your experience
  • Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours are available - you can choose depending on your preference (options of: 11.5 hours, 23 hours, 34.5 hours or 37.5 hours)
  • Shifts: Options of Days only (7am - 7pm) or Nights only (7pm - 7am) or Mixed shifts on a rotational basis - you can choose depending on your preference. The hospital can also offer fixed shifts and are willing to accommodate specific requirements and preferences

Hospital Details: This Hospital provides a recovery focused service treating a wide range of mental health problems. The hospital also offers a specialist diagnostic, assessment and inpatient services for individuals with mental health needs and who also have a dual diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder ( ASD ).

The Hospital is split into 4 wards:
  • Acute In-patient Ward
  • Low Secure Service for men with mental health needs and a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder
  • 2x - Highly specialised service for men with mental health needs and a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder

Training / Induction and opportunities for development and progression: The Hospital offers a structured and thorough 2 week induction programme, which will include various training courses. Nurses will also have access to clear and structured development programmes where nurses can see clear pathways to progression within the hospital. Nurses will also have access to training opportunities to develop and enhance your nursing skills. Nurses will receive ongoing support from your Manager. Training and development is one of the major ethos' of the hospital. There are no limits to training and development as the hospital will fund any training course you would like to do that is relevant to your job role.

Location : The Hospital is very accessible via car and on public transport too.
