Registered Nurse - RGN - Day Surgery - London - Up to £36,000 per annum + bonus

Working hours: Monday to Saturday, full time or part time

Shifts: Between 7am and 7pm

We are currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RGN) to join a Day Surgery Team based in London. You will be working with inspiring, passionate and highly skilled teams with a common goal to deliver the highest standards of patient care.

You will work alongside a dedicated hospital team to provide excellent care to all patients, with specific responsibility for diagnostic testing, pre-operative assessment, peri-operative and post-operative care in the surgical and refractive suite of the hospital, and assisting with minor operations.

Responsibilities of this Registered Nurse (RGN) role include:

• Problem solving, anticipating and prioritising appropriately using a proactive, positive attitude and common sense approach
• Providing the highest standards of nursing
• Being fully conversant with all policies and procedures of the client
• Competency in the administration of medication
• Planning, assessing, implementing and evaluating care plans
• Ensuring care provided is in accordance with Care Quality Commission standards

Essential requirements of this Registered Nurse (RGN) role include:

• Nursing qualification and current NMC registration
• Post qualification nursing experience
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Previous experience in Ophthalmology, Theatre, General surgery or Outpatients
• Aware of the role of CQC
• Consistent professional attitude demonstrated to all colleagues and customers
• Personable, confident and articulate at all times
