Linq Healthcare are proud to be supporting the UK's leading specialist weight loss and cosmetics hospital based in Worcestershire, who are looking for full time Nurses to join their Wards department.

From surgical procedures such as breast augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction and nose surgery through to an extensive range of medical aesthetics treatments including anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers and laser hair removal, we pride ourselves on providing high levels of clinical care in a professional, safe and comfortable environment.

Assisting the ward team, you will ensure that internal and external standards are maintained, in terms of patient care and other quality indicators. The role would suit an individual with a hands-on approach who is committed to providing excellence in customer service and patient care standards. You will be caring for our surgical patients upon admission and immediately post operatively.

Although cosmetic surgery experience is not essential, applicants should have experience of caring for hospital inpatients pre and post operatively. Surgical and wound care experience is essential.

Key elements of this role include:

• Responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients and his/her relatives without direct supervision, and prioritising workload efficiently and effectively.
• Interpretation of data and clinical information appropriately, supporting and supervising junior nurses when required.
• Contributing to the development, evaluation and audit of specialist protocols and guidelines.
• Utilising all resources efficiently and effectively, and assisting with the maintenance of stock levels for consumables and drugs through reporting, ordering and receiving items according to policy.
• Supporting the implementation of quality initiatives within the clinical area and practice in the evaluation of patient outcomes.
