Leaders In Care are looking to recruit an RMN, RGN and RNLD Registered Nurse on behalf of a brand new mental health service in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Our client has run a national network of specialist mental health services for over 30 years. The RN roles are based at a service in West Yorkshire which has recently opened and provides nursing care for adults with mental health needs or a personality disorder who have progressed through the hospital pathway and are looking for the next stage in their rehabilitation journey.

To apply for a Registered Nurse role, you will be an RGN, RMN or RNLD with Mental Health experience. The role is full time, working 42 hours a week (12-hour day shifts and 13-hour night shifts, based on a rolling rota of two weeks of days and two weeks of nights). Your tasks will include:

• Managing daily shift requirements and the healthcare team
• Administering prescribed medicines according to guidelines
• Producing written reports based on your nursing assessments and observations
• Attending training and engaging in CPD to further knowledge and promote nursing

To apply for this Registered Nurse role, you must have the relevant nursing qualification (RGN/RMN/RNLD) and a current NMC Pin, plus a good understanding of the Mental Health Act 1983. You'll need compassion, resilience and dedication to support service user independence. Ideally, you'll also have some mental health nursing experience and knowledge of behavioural interventions.
