The Vacancy: 

The band 6 registered nurse acts as a leader, advisor and role model, ensuring appropriate standards of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care are delivered to Service Users within their clinical setting, as well as, implementing and monitoring quality assurance initiatives including development of action plans and measuring outcomes.

They will regularly take charge of the ward, deputising for the Ward Manager in their absence and participate in the role of Duty Senior Nurse for Adult Community Services.

The post holder will report to the Ward Manager, will be responsible to the Service Manager, Services Specialist Mental Health Services, and will be accountable to the Head of Adult Community Services.

Requirements: 

• Registered nurse with NMC registration. 
• Experience co-ordinating ward activities, delegating appropriately (Desirable)
• Demonstrate the capacity to treat service users with dignity, respect equality and
  diversity. Respecting their individual rights
