This service provides care and recuperation for children and young people with mental health needs. As the Ward Manager in Stafford, you will receive a favourable salary up to £45,000 p/a

As a Nurse Manager specialising in mental health, you will be working in a Tier 4 Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) hospital for young people aged 12 to 18 years. The residents have eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia, and other complex mental health conditions, such as bipolar disorder and emerging personality disorder.

You will work as a healthcare provider according to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and relevant professional guidelines as a named nurse or key worker for a defined group of residents. To give you a clearer idea of the nursing role, if you were currently doing this job, here are some things you would have done last week:

• Provide day to day management of a team of staff working within the service.
• Work closely with the Head of Nursing to ensure the efficient and effective running of their areas of responsibility.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of patient-centred services.
• Provide specialist clinical advice and care within designated area responsibility.
