Description
Lifeworksis looking to recruit a Mental Health Nurse to join the team.

Life Works is a trusted and welcoming private rehab centre in Surrey, near
London, specialising in addiction recovery and eating disorder treatment.




What you'll be doing
You'll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, supporting with care requirements, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
  • Deliver prescribed care to a defined group within an agreed framework.
  • Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse.
  • Accurately observe and engage with patients in order to assess their need and evaluate their progress.
  • Monitor and review Nursing Care plans.

What you'll bring to the role

The ideal candidate is a Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with 6-12 months of post-registration experience, active NMC registration and a completed preceptorship programme. They should understand NMC guidelines and professional practices, demonstrate ongoing professional development, and show a positive, adaptable and improvement-focused approach to their work. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Experience should include at least six months in a Mental Health or Learning Disabilities care environment, supported by continuous development in the field.
