Play video: "It is so important that before you even start writing that you know what is required..."

Before you even open a word document, it’s critical that you know what you’re going to write. Student Nurse, Alexandria, explains why in this short clip.

Hi guys, it's Alexandria Grace, one of the student creators for nurses.co.uk.

And today I have some advice for my fellow students about assignment preparation.

Before you even write the introduction, the title, before you even make the Word document, make sure you know how to research.

Make sure you know how to reference, make sure you have read the assessment criteria.

Especially if you are moving up from one level to another, which I'm currently doing as I've just started second year.

So I'm moving from level four to level five.

There are different expectations of you.

So it is so important that before you even start writing that you know what is required for the exam and that you are able to perform to the best of your ability at the level expected.

That's just a quick piece of advice.
