Unit Manager - Medical Ward
This outstanding opportunity requires a suitably qualified and experienced senior staff Nurse to take on responsibility for the day to day running of a busy medical ward. Consisting of 22 beds (individual patient rooms) the ward houses both male and female patients with a variety of medical conditions.
In addition to ensuring the provision of safe, efficient and effective patient care throughout the ward at all times, the post holder’s daily responsibilities will include:
- Supervision junior staff
- Staff motivation
- Staff mentoring
- Deputising in the ward manager’s absence
This reputable, established private Hospital provides a wide range of services and is situated in the Middlesex area.
Applications are invited from enthusiastic and dedicated RGN’s holding valid and current UK NMC Registration and with minimum 3 years’ recent post qualification experience within an acute medical setting is essential. Previous ward supervisory experience is desirable, as is Teaching and Assessing in Clinical Practice certification (ENB 998 or equivalent) or the willingness to train for this certification whilst in post.
A highly competitive salary £35000-£38000, along with excellent benefits (including private healthcare, free parking subsidised meals and excellent training opportunities) await the successful candidate.
