TRIAGE NURSE

Healthcare Professionals are currently recruiting a Triage Nurse to work for one of the leading independent providers of health care and social services in the UK who successfully run a number of primary care facilities across the UK. We are currently recruiting Nurse Practitioners to work in one of their facilities on the Hampshire Coast.

JOB ROLE

* Using triage skills to perform initial assessments of patients visiting the Health Centre, presenting with a variety of different types of minor ailments and injuries such as Ear and throat infections, acute flare ups of chronic conditions such as asthma and COPD, cuts, minor burns, eye complaints etc
* Giving medical advice
* Health Promotion
* Treatment Room Nursing
* Wound care and dressings
* Referral on to other members of the MDT e.g. Nurse Practitioners, or other health services or providers.
