Rate: £ 25.5 to £ 28 K - PER ANNUM

Job Status: Permanent

An opportunity has arisen to work for a leading name within the mental health and learning disability industry in Shropshire.

The opportunity welcomes both newly qualified and experienced RNLD’s who either have prior experience or a specific interest in working within a secure setting, or for those with forensic histories. The facility is a low secure hospital offering specialist assessment and treatment for male and female clients suffering with a learning disability, with or without additional mental health related illness. Many patients are ex-forensic and demonstrate challenging behaviour or offensive behaviour.

This position offers a comprehensive package including a structured training scheme and career progression opportunities, excellent working environments, competitive salary rates based on experience, qualifications and skill.

Applicants must be qualified learning disabilities nurse practitioners and must hold a valid PIN. All applicants should be eligible to live and work in the UK without restriction. Strong communication skills are vital to succeed in this role, together with the ability to be a good team player. Sound clinical knowledge and skills are also important.
