Fantastic opportunity for experienced Oncology Nurses to join market leading private healthcare organisation operating within the homecare sector.
We currently have several permanent full time opportunities for experienced and suitably qualified Nurses to provide a chemotherapy service to patients in London within a homecare environment. The role involves managing patients appointments for their chemotherapy and to assist in the recording/reporting of adverse events/incidents; including side-effects of therapy..
Applicants must be experienced Oncology Nurses with up-to-date cannulation and infusion skills and ideally an N59/equivalent qualification or a recognised course in Administration of Cytotoxic Therapy. Furthermore, excellent communication and customer care skills, a confident, outgoing manner and a highly flexible approach to the working week are essential attributes required for this role.
Post holders will be expected to work autonomously, managing their own diaries and assuming responsibility for patients within pre-defined regional territories. As such, applicants must also have a full driving license and be able to demonstrate an ability to manage their time efficiently and effectively. Working hours are mainly Monday – Friday with an element of on call, however working hours may vary so flexibility is the vital for this role. A minimum of 12 months post qualification experience is required for this role.
