ODP/Theatre Practitioner Job, Kettering, Northamptonshire

JP Recruit is currently working alongside the UK’s leading private healthcare organisation who are looking to recruit an ODP/Theatre Practitioner to join their expanding Theatre department.

The hospital currently has 2 operating theatres with an exciting development under way for a new third theatre. The hospital offers a wide variety of specialities and prides itself on providing a high standard of care both to patients and staff.

The successful applicant will be required to participate within the on-call rota, hours to include Saturday working. Ideal candidates must have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with current registration, ideally with a minimum of 3 years post registration experience, however consideration will be given to applicants with a suitable background within theatres, and possess excellent organisational and communication skills. You will be expected to be proactive to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department. The successful applicant will need to be able to work under pressure and be an enthusiastic team player. Recovery and/or scrub skills will be an advantage.

Salaries range from £25,000- £28,000depending on experience, with an excellent benefits package, including 25 days holiday entitlement, life assurance, private medical insurance, contributory pension scheme, ongoing training and development, free parking, enhanced rate for unsociable hours and subsidised meals.
