The School of Health and Social Sciences (HSSc) has a wide-ranging academic portfolio of educational courses with a well-established and longstanding reputation in Psychology, Social Sciences and Public Health Sciences. We have established strong links with NHS Trusts and government organisations as well within our local communities, in addition to a wide range of UK, EU and international collaborative partners.
We have two campuses, Archway and Hendon. However teaching also takes place in Hospital sites across North London. We emphasise a creative and flexible approach to teaching, learning and research, receiving a high QAA scoring for Nursing and Midwifery.
Teaching and research training are underpinned by a lively research culture which involves both staff and students, focused around conferences, seminars, forums and other activities, together with lectures from eminent guest speakers.
