A vacancy has arisen for a Nursing Home Manager to run a superb Home which overlooks the Tamar estuary in Plymouth. This modern 38 bed home specialises in dementia and mental disorders for elderly residents and is part of a small privately owned group. The company prides itself on selecting and hiring quality staff and this is one reason why it has been awarded the prestigious Investors in People award for career development of its employees. The Home maintains excellent relations with relatives and friends and holds annual fund raising events for the benefit of the service users. The Home is currently running at full occupancy.
To be considered for this post you should have a relevant qualification (RGN or RMN) and EMI/dementia experience coupled with an RMA or NVQ4 or equivalent. You will be expected to continue to maintain and develop high standards of care, promote excellent relationships with professional services and offer strong leadership to all staff.
