Healthcare Professionals are currently working with a prestigious Private Hospital Group to recruit a Matron for one of their hospitals based in South Midlands / South East.

This hospital is part of one of the leading private hospital groups in the UK, which boasts being one of the best organisations in the UK for nurses to work. With training and professional development of staff a key focus for the company.

The successful post holder will be responsible for providing clinical and professional leadership, contributing to the operational development of the service and staff. They will also be involved in the development and expansion of the current case mix.

The successful candidate will possess:
-Strong clinical leadership skills, with demonstrable experience at senior level.
-Sound knowledge and understanding of Best Practice and Clinical Governance and experience with audit.
-An orthopaedic or critical care background.
-Experience or working knowledge of the Private health sector is desirable.
