Cygnet Health Care's Jobs

Cygnet Health Care was originally founded in 1988. Since then we have developed a wide range of services for individuals suffering from a variety of mental health problems.

Cygnet operates 21 centres with more than 1,000 beds. Two units are registered nursing homes providing long term and respite care for private fee-paying elderly residents. We are recognised as a specialist provider by the NHS across England and Wales.

Our mission is simple: ‘To provide superior quality healthcare that service users recommend to family & friends; clinicians prefer for those in their care; purchasers select for their clients; and employees are proud of.’

Cygnet is now part of Universal Health Services (UHS), the largest provider of behavioural health care in the United States of America; they too share the same vision.

Some of the accreditations of quality we hold, either at individual service level or as a group, include the following:

AIMS (Accreditation for Inpatient Mental Health Services)
Quality Network for Eating Disorders
Quality Network for Forensic Mental Health Services
Star Wards
Investors in People
