The Critical Care Unit, or ITU, provides intensive care and high dependency care for patients whose condition may be life-threatening, either through serious injury or illness, who need constant, close monitoring. The Unit is equipped with the latest patient monitoring and life support equipment. Patients in ITU receive one to one nursing care, and there is one nurse to every two high dependency patients.
