We are looking to recruit a Registered Nurse on behalf of a twenty bedded specialist psychiatric home in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
As a Nurse within this Service, you will be working with adults who have complex mental health needs. The Home also offers specialist care for individuals with Huntington's disease and other neurological conditions.
The Service has a focus on enablement and recovery and have expanded to support three people on an intensive recovery journey. The Home is split in to 2 x 10 bedded units and one 3 bedded community house. As a nurse, you would be responsible for the shift management of a unit.
About the job;
You will be the nurse in charge of a 10-bedded unit, ensuring a high standard of person centred care is delivered by the team. Duties include:
Acting as a named nurse
Administering, reviewing and monitoring medications
Assessing, planning and implementing support plans to meet the individual needs
Supervising the care team to ensure that the shift runs smoothly and efficiently, through positive role modelling and leadership
Promoting choice, independence, dignity and respect

This is a full time Nurse role working 42 hours a week. The annual salary is circa £31,600+
