Goodall Brazier is currently working with one of the leading healthcare business and are excited to announce that they are looking to recruit for a Director of Nursing opportunity for an ambitious clinical leader to join us during a positive period of change, growth and integration.
Looking for a Director of Nursing who can creatively challenge current thinking, enhance the group nursing strategy, as well as having experience in dealing with targets, audits and governance.
In addition who is influential, analytical; solution focused and who can work collaboratively with our commissioners, stakeholders and partners.
Needs to be an outstanding individual to develop the knowledge and performance of the team of over 1,000 strong nurses; who can support the excellent preceptorship programme and work with the learning and development team, and the University of Wolverhampton on our pioneering apprenticeship for nursing programme.
The Director of Nursing will be responsible for the quality of services provided by nurses, reducing restrictive practice and improving the patient experience, overseeing the leadership of nurses, nurse practitioners and ensuring that the best professional standards are provided which underpin excellent outcomes for their patients and the individuals that the company cares for.
Overall you will play a pivotal role in delivering the mission, vision and values of the company.
– Should have experience in a similar role and a thorough understanding of the independent sector.
– Are an experienced clinician with credibility and the ability to work closely with clinical and non-clinical professionals?
– Have detailed knowledge of professional regulation and evidence-based practice.
– Understand how to use data to improve quality and performance.
– Gained a degree level in nursing or equivalent.
– Are registered and revalidated.
– Can demonstrate senior clinical leadership experience.
– Should be an excellent communicator.
– Must be flexible with travel
