We are currently working in partnership with one of the biggest Private Hospital Organisations in the UK.
Their Hospital in Somerfield, Maidstone is currently looking for a Lead Theatre Practitioner for their Theatre department. This is a Full-Time position 37.5 hour per week.
You will need to meet the following Criteria:
*Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration
*Post-registration qualification relevant to functional specialty i.e. Advanced Scrub Practitioner or Surgical First Assistant qualification [for scrub leads].
*Approved / recognised anaesthetic course.
*Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills across a range and varied patient case mix and competent across a range of skills.
*Previous experience working within an acute healthcare environment.
*Previous experiencing managing and leading a clinical team.
*Motivated and enthusiastic.
*Caring and Professional nature.
Role and responsibilities:
*To provide quality planned care for patients during their peri-operative phase of care
*To support and assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Operating Department
*Assist in the delivery of patient care
*Contribute to quality improvement
*Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of others and self
*Promote best evidence based practice within own scope of practice
*Apply legislation, policies and procedures correctly.
*Respect the patient's dignity, privacy, wishes and beliefs.
