As a Practice Nurse, you will use your knowledge, skills and experience to guide care staff as appropriate. The role will involve assessing, planning, developing, implementing and evaluating programmes to promote health and well-being with the aim of making a lasting positive difference to the quality of care people receive.

This is a permanent, part time opportunity offering 25 hours per week. The practice is open Monday to Friday, 8am – 6:30pm allowing you to choose a flexible shift pattern that, wherever possible, will suit your needs to enhance your work-life balance.

The essential qualities we are looking for in Practice Nurse applicants are:
• Practice Nurse qualification
• Clinical experience - working in primary health care would be advantageous
• Spirometry experience gained within a GP or community setting desirable
• Minor injuries experience gained within an acute setting
• Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
• Awareness of clinical governance issues in primary care
