The facility compromises of three separate units offering respite and general nursing and palliative care alongside specialised dementia care. This is a varied facility with a well trained staff nurse and clinical support team, the manager is long standing and the role offers a lot of autonomy.
Your role as Senior Nurse means you will have direct responsibility for the performance of the General Nursing unit and Dementia Nursing unit working very closely with the home manager and deputy manager as part of the senior management team.

You will be heavily supported with management qualifications and in house training which is RCN accredited within a company renowned for its training packages; you will be supported and assisted by the Home Manager, Clinical Trainer, Senior Staff Nurses and experienced support staff.
The appropriate candidate must be a Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin whether RGN/RMN or RNLD qualified. You will come from a care home background preferably with experience of working with elderly residents or dementia patients; for the role of Senior Nurse you must be able to demonstrate some leadership skills/qualities.
Experience of managing staff, building and developing strong teams alongside a strong service led approach whilst being extremely person centred is key.
