Providing quality, inspiring innovation and delivering value is what we set out to achieve at Priory Healthcare. Enabling our patients with mental health illness to receive a truly integrated and holistic approach to their treatment, regardless of complexity or severity, thanks to the knowledge and expertise of our multidisciplinary clinical teams.
Located in a rural area near the town of Heathfield and within a short drive of Eastbourne and Tunbridge Wells, the Priory Hospital Heathfield is a 28 bedded inpatient hospital for males and females who have both complex mental healthcare and physical needs.
Our consultant led multidisciplinary team work together with service users and their carers to develop personalised treatment programmes. The hospital aims to improve the quality of life for service users within a safe and supportive environment, engaging them in a recovery and rehabilitation plan to develop increased independence.
The hospital has a seamless care pathway to and from the Priory Hospital Ticehurst should service users become either less or more independent in respect of their healthcare needs.
Successful candidates will be motivated to work in a service that offers involvement and empowerment for patients, who may have a personality disorder and/or mental illness, encouraging patients to have a real voice in how services develop and in their individualised care pathways. You will be flexible and supportive, enabling patients to build on their existing strengths and feel positive about their lives.
