We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic RNLD Staff Nurse to join our client's Mental Health Unit based in a small, attractive rural community near Hook, Hampshire , close to Fleet Services on the M3.
This is a full-time post, but our client is open to hearing from applicants seeking to negotiate a part-time opportunity.
Our client is a major provider of UK independent mental health care; dedicated to patients' health and wellbeing, offering a high standard of services, inspiring innovation, and providing programmes using a diverse range of therapeutic interventions which are individually tailored to patients' needs.
This unit is a low secure and locked rehabilitation service for men with learning disability and autism spectrum disorder, and for women with learning disability.
The successful candidate will be contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress.
Person requirements .
Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse with (or eligible for) full registration with the NMC .
A minimum of one year's relevant post-registration experience in an Acute Adult Mental Health setting.
Up-to-date knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
Decision-making skills, communication skills and organisational skills are essential
