With low patient to nurse ratios you are able to implement a high level of care and compassion to your patients and become a fundamental part of their treatment and recovery and our resident Haematology Consultant means that you will always have consultant level support.
Your role as a Staff Nurse is to act as an advocate for your patient, recognising the individual needs of the patient's, carer's and family's needs. You will provide specialist nursing advice to support and facilitate high quality, individualised care in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team and provide the highest standards of holistic nursing care using evidence based practice.
Whilst the prime focus of this unit is haematological cancers, we do also have a wide range and high level of experience in other blood disorders and Oncological diagnoses, making this role extremely diverse and interesting, in turn allowing you to continually learn and develop.
About the Individual:
You must be an NMC Registered nurse from an acute hospital setting with some Haematology or Oncology nursing experience.
