My client is a campus hospital with sites in some of London's top NHS Hospitals, a successful diagnostic centre in the Shard plus outpatient units across Canary Wharf.
They are undergoing a multi-million pound expansion in 2017 and the new site will encompass inpatient and daycase beds, operating theatres including the first integrated robotics theatre in the UK, housing a Da Vinci Robot.
The Lead Theatre Practitioner-Anaesthetics is responsible for the preparation of the pre-operative stage according to each individual case and needs of the patient. You will ensure that the recovery of your patients is carried out safely in preparation for their transfer back to the wards.
You will ensure that all equipment is checked prior to use and offer training for staff within the department.
You will be hands on in your approach to the role of Lead Theatre Practitioner-Anaesthetics and will work on a variety of cases.
This is a full time role working 37.5hrs per week typically between the hours of Apply with participation in the on call rota.
About the Individual:
As Lead Theatre Practitioner-Anaesthetics, you must be Registered with the appropriate council-NMC/HCPC.
You will have experience in complex procedures including orthopaedics, organ transplants and reconstructive surgeries.
