Critical Care Practice Development Nurse

We are seeking a committed and experienced Critical Care Practice Development Nurse to join our client's Education and Development team, at their large acute hospital site, located in Central London (TfL Zone 1 ).
Working just a short walk from Regent's Park and the West End, this role is within easy reach of TfL and National Rail services ( Paddington , Marylebone , Euston , King's X/St. Pancras ).
This is a full-time role, but our client may be open to considering a part-time hours opportunity; however, rigid rostering cannot be accommodated.
Our client is a leading large provider of UK independent healthcare, working with many of the country's most experienced consultant surgeons and other healthcare specialists.
This hospital delivers exceptional Level 3 Critical care, supported by the latest technology and state-of-the-art equipment.
As the Practice Development Nurse you will work in collaboration with the Matron, Clinical Nursing Lead and the Lead Consultants to deliver and develop up-to-date clinical nursing competencies, guidance and assessments for all levels of nursing, and ensure that high quality nursing standards and practices are maintained and sustained within the services.
You will initiate change as necessary to ensure best practice in light of current research, national recommendations, guidance and developments within critical care.
You will also undertake clinical audit as appropriate and facilitate clinical audits processes within the critical care environments.
RGN with full NMC registration.
At least five years in Critical Care with Education/Practice Development responsibilities.
Completion of a Teaching/Assessing/Mentorship qualification.
Completion of a post-graduate Critical Care qualification.
