Oncology Practice Development Lead Nurse

We are seeking a committed and experienced Lead Practice Development Nurse to join our client's Education and Development/Oncology teams, at their large acute hospital site, located in the world-renowned medical district of Central London (TfL Zone 1 ).
Working just a short walk from Regent's Park and the West End, this role is within easy reach of TfL and National Rail services ( Paddington , Marylebone , Euston , King's X/St. Pancras ).
This is a full-time role, but our client may be open to considering a part-time hours opportunity; however, rigid rostering cannot be accommodated.

As the Practice Development Lead Nurse you will have a responsibility to provide expertise in the provision of education, training and professional development for the Cancer services workforce by providing educational initiatives aligned to service and changing care needs.
You will be tasked to ensure that Oncology staff are properly inducted, continuously trained and are provided with the required education to keep their clinical skills up to date and in line clinical governance and national healthcare guidelines.
You will work with Clinial Managers and Heads of Departments to identify training needs of the workforce - primarily supporting the Clinical Education Lead in delivering education for registered professional clinicians and provide appropriate provision to meet individual and organisational requirements.
RGN with full NMC registration.
At least five years in an Oncology clinical background, with Education/Practice Development responsibilities.
Completion of a Teaching/Assessing/Mentorship qualification.
Completion of a post-graduate Oncology qualification.
