An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified Registered General Nurse to join their team and make a positive impact in the lives and general health of patients. It is a challenging, rewarding role which can really make a difference to the long-term health outcomes.
As a Registered Nurse, you will act within your professional standards and boundaries to provide excellent physical healthcare for our patients as well as being an advocate for their physical healthcare needs.
Knowledge and experience of working with challenging patient groups would be an advantage. You will need to be able to demonstrate a flexible, individual and person centred approach.
This post is suitable for a registered nurse wishing to further develop the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver effective and holistic physical care to adult in patients with acute mental health challenges.
The successful applicant will function at a high level of clinical practice, working with inpatients that have highly complex psychological and physical health needs, working as part of the MDT.
The post holder will be responsible for the care delivered, demonstrating clinical assessment skills and critical thinking skills in clinical decision making.
The post holder will also assist in the care and management of patients with ongoing physical health care needs and/or long-term conditions and advise other members of the MDT, advising on health promotion and leading on physical healthcare issues for our patients.
